“Starting in the 1980’s, drama ‘The End’ follows 4 Deaf children over 60 years. After the introduction of a treatment aimed at eradicating deafness, the very survival of Deaf language and culture is at stake. Featuring stunning visual effects and an ensemble cast, ‘The End’ is a thought-provoking alternative vision of the future.”
This is a very moving short film on what could happen if eradicating deafness did happen. A really emotional story which does touch your heart especially if you are deaf or is involved in the deaf community.
It is a comedy drama with two friends, Andy who is deaf and Jez who is hearing. They try to get rich and their scams goes wrong…till one day…
I laughed so hard and really enjoyed myself. You should watch it! ~grins~
This is an awesome film! You kept hanging on, wanting to know what happened, and when you get to the end, it certainly wasn’t what you expected! Go on…watch the movie!
Knowing is a futuristic movie with Nicolas Cage as John Koestler and Chandler Canterbury as Caleb Koestler. A time caspule is found after 50 years, and the boy, Caleb, takes a letter home. The father (Cage) finds it, it is full of numbers which confuses him, until he realises that it is full of dates, number of people dead and locations of disaster events. There are only 3 dates left to go, and Cage tries to stop them happening.
I just watched Knowing today. I would give it 8 out of 10 and would recommend it.
I won’t spoil the ending. But I enjoyed watching Knowing, there were some nice special effects, especially at the end. The story itself was a bit confusing in parts, but it all came together at the end. I will recommend Knowing for anyone who likes futuristic or sci-fi movies.
